Avantos
Winning a client should not be the easy part of serving them.

The work between systems
Avantos focuses on client onboarding and ongoing service in financial services. Bessemer describes its foundation as a connecting clients, products, teams and work. Agents use that context to prepare and coordinate tasks across systems, while people remain in control.
The company positions the product around the client relationship, from onboarding to continued servicing, within a firm’s existing technology stack.
The graph has to stay right
A shared map of a client is useful only if it stays current. I would test what happens when two systems disagree about an address, an account owner or an approval. Which record takes priority, and can a person understand why?
Then I would test interrupted work. If an account update succeeds in one system and fails in another, the platform needs to recover without repeating the successful action. That is where dependable workflow software earns its place.
Access control also needs to follow the individual. Connecting more information should not quietly let every employee see all of it.
The business model and moat
I see a straightforward buyer problem: time spent moving information between teams delays useful service. A product that reduces that delay can justify an enterprise software budget. I would measure completed journeys and rework, alongside the effort required to deploy it.
The potential moat is the combination of integration depth, a reliable client model and workflows embedded in daily operations. Replacing the interface would be easy compared with rebuilding all three.
The same integrations can also make delivery expensive. I would want each new connection to become reusable, with clear ownership when an external system changes. That is an important condition for scaling beyond individual implementations.
My take
I like the focus on what happens after the client says yes. There is plenty of useful work there. The strongest direction would be a dependable service layer that makes existing systems feel connected, without requiring a firm to replace everything at once.
